With an electric display of speed and power surfing, Filipe claimed his 9th CT Victory in pumping four-to six foot surf at Margaret River’s Main Break.

Building throughout an event which saw some of the biggest surf in recent competition, FT timed his run to perfection, unleashing a barrage of critical forehand hacks to take the win.

“I’m just so stoked. My equipment feels so dialled. My fins feel perfect in these solid conditions. I feel glued to my board! I promised to win a comp for my son Koa on his birthday today & I did it! I'm fired up for the next comp at Rottenest, Bring it on!” – Filipe Toledo

Taking a closer look at the equipment Filipe used throughout the comp he preferred the FCS All Round leash as a trusted option in the big stuff.

His fins of choice were the FT Larges – which sit under the Accelerator family and are ideal for controlled, high speed turns in critical waves – pretty much the exact conditions over in the West!
