Episode 5 With Crosby Colapinto
Surfboard fins play a significant role in shaping the performance of a surfer and their board when they unite on a wave. While the design of a surfboard holds its own allure, it is the fins that truly breathe life into a board. With the aim of unraveling the secrets behind fin templates, we reached out to some of the world's best surfers.
In episode five of Beneath The Surface, we catch up with one of the world's most promising and exciting surfers Crosby Colapinto.
Cros gives us his insights into his favourite fins and why he's now jazzed on riding quads.
"I never had a quad or ridden a quad set-up in any of my shortboards, but it felt insane... it felt like it would hold the whole way through a carve and would come out with speed. The board felt like it was planted in the water and it wasn’t going to fly out or lose speed." - Crosby on the Mayhem tri-quad set."
