As SurfAid International celebrates its 20th year in 2020, FCS will again be driving the FCS Blue Strings For Charity initiative. This partnership with SurfAid was created for the sole purpose of supporting the amazing work they carry out to help underprivileged communities around the world.

The concept is pretty simple… Surfers are always in need of leash strings. They’re a hot commodity, and for some mysterious reason, they often go missing. So, FCS decided to make special Blue Leash Strings available through retail outlets with 100% of the profits going directly to SurfAid International. In essence, anyone who purchases one of the blue FCS Leash Strings is helping to support this worthy cause.

In 2020 we’re asking our team and influential surfers to get involved by promoting the FCS Blue Strings program through their social media platforms. Each year thousands of surfers make the pilgrimage to remote parts of the world to indulge in perfect waves, and at FCS, we feel it’s our responsibility to give back to these local communities via SurfAid.

With its ongoing commitment to SurfAid International, FCS has to date raised more than $122,000.00 through the ‘FCS Blue Strings For Charity’ program.
