Episode 6 with Lukas Skinner

Surfboard fins play a significant role in shaping the performance of a surfer and their board when they unite on a wave. While the design of a surfboard holds its own allure, it is the fins that truly breathe life into a board. With the aim of unraveling the secrets behind fin templates, we reached out to some of the world's best surfers.

In this episode, we catch up with one of the most exciting surfers to ride a surfboard, Kolohe Andino. Kolohe lets us into his garage and gives us his take on fins, what he chooses to ride around home, and the safety advantages of the FCSII system

"I find as soon as I jump onto a larger fin, like the Mick Fanning, it teaches you to hold your line and you still get all your drive and speed out of it. I think that's what you need when you're younger to teach you how to do it properly when you're older."
