We're very excited to announce Japanese surfer Amuro Tsuzuki has officially joined the FCS Team prior to embarking on her maiden WSL WCT season.

The past few months have been historic and packed with excitement for the young surfer from Kugenuma Beach, with two major goals becoming a reality. Just last November, Amuro became the first-ever Japanese WSL World Champion when she secured the 2019 Junior Championship following a victory at the Taiwan Open of Surfing.

Adding to her growing list of accolades, Tsuzuki will also join the elite WSL Women’s World Championship Tour in 2020, an incredible achievement for any surfer aged just 18 years.

“I’m so excited to join the women’s tour and represent Japan. Despite having a successful few months, I’m now focused on the 2020 tour, and part of that will be fine-tuning my equipment and joining the FCS team will help to maximize my performance”.

Now living with her brother in Ichinomiya, Chiba, the site where surfing will be showcased in the 2020 Olympic Games, Amuro has been training hard in preparation for the tour.
