My favorite leash. Stays out of the way and does not stretch out. Pricey but worth it

I like this leash a lot. The padding and rubberized pattern of angled lines on the strap are awesome. They prohibit the strap from rotating on the ankle without having to make it too tight. The half sphere pull tab above a void space circle is the most impressive detail in my opinion. I also like the half of a DNA helix pattern that is molded into the end of the leash that connects to the Velcro assembly for attaching it to the leash string. The half helix pattern in the core is a nice detail that adds strength. It appears to be some kind of polymer or plastic. I’m not sure if this leash is as strong as my former FCS Freedom leash, which was wrapped in woven nylon and never stretched or snapped after years of use, but I assume it is because it is the alpha leash that supplanted that one.
